Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

The focus is no longer a feel-good inspirational culture and is now focused on cutting costs and driving investor profits. I understand this is vital to grow, but with no transparency about where we are headed or what our vision is, it all feels brutal and unfeeling.

What makes you most happy at work?

My awesome coworkers, accomplishing a goal, making an impact, and growing professionally.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Leadership has done a phenomenal job of hand-picking quality employees from across the business and externally to build a fantastic team.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

No transparency from leadership regarding where we are headed as a company, so layoffs and reorgs don't make any sense. Leadership is cutting costs by outsourcing customer-facing (e.g. call centers) to underqualified overseas employees, which negatively impacts customer experience.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

There has always been an activist spirit present within the employees of this company. We rally for renewables and solar and we rally for equal pay. We rally to increase visibility and acceptance of disabilities, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, and so much more. We have a fighting spirit.
