It's been okay. Again, I wish we had more degree options for the school program and would like to see more pay in New Homes. Due to the high volume of buyers and everyone having between 180-300+ buyers we for sure deserve to be paid more for our job.

My supervisor is always there to help me improve and be the best I can be at my job
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I just think this company has enough money that they could pay us more to compensate for inflation. I make $23.38/hourly and it is not enough for me to afford rent on my own or pay all of my bills. I live paycheck to paycheck and work by butt off.
What are some of the best things about your team?
EVERYONE is willing to step up and ask questions. Andrea Bent has worked hard on building us a resource website to help us have access to all info needed. My manager sees me as a person first and then as an employee. Sara Bitterman deserves a raise as well. She is AMAZING!
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Just high-stress levels and not enough pay to compensate for the work we do in New Homes. We work very hard in our department and most people make $18. I personally think we deserve to be making AT LEAST $25 if you are a top performer. We are for sure underpaid in our department.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Between Travis and Sara Bitterman, they are the reason I am staying in New Homes. I almost moved to the processing team due to high-stress levels and rude buyers but they have fought to keep me and have even given me raises to help me want to stay in the department. Sara and Travis are the BEST!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think the benefits of school are nice. I do wish that we had more options for degrees though. It would be nice to see a psych program on there for sure especially seeing as we have the free therapy program. I also love that we have a mental health program in place. That means a lot to me.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think in new homes we are not paid nearly enough for the work that we do. I have over 300 buyers in my workbook and only make $19.75. I feel our department deserves better pay because of all of the issues and escalated buyers we deal with. We do a lot more work and don't get paid nearly enough.
