I would say I had a rough transition when it all started. But being apart of a new team has made my opinion of Sunrun that much better. I just want to feel that i am cared for and paid accordingly to my work that I do.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I can say my manager recognizes someone monthly and rewards us for the work we do. She always keeps things fun and interesting.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to reach my daily number goal and to help someone who may be upset due to not understanding the situation or process. I love to hear when a customer is happy that we are able to solve the issue.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My manager Kaila Schleu is amazing. She understands us each as a person not just an employee. She is very inspirational and gives the team excellent motivation to achieve our goals. Kaila always has a positive mood and it reflects throughout our team. She does a great job!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel compensation should be based on the level of work and knowledge you provide in your position. I have been in another position where this was not the case and I felt like a workhorse. The phones can be stressful and I feel it take a toll on my mental health.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The willingness to help is amazing. Everyone is always ready to lend a hand or to show what can be done to solve a problem. No one keeps information to themself, we are only as strong as our weakest link and i think we do a good job as a team working together to assist one another.
