This career has been life changing for me. As a former massage therapist-I wanted a place where I could get that "same feeling" after helping someone on my table. Sunrun is it. I'm for helping families. I'm for their value system. I just wish there was more transparency within the company, honestly.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We get to have in-person meetings at places like arcades, we go-kart, have field days, celebratory dinners, planned vacations for successful salespeople and plenty of support everyday from multiple sources!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They really do have an open door policy. They listen, accept our ideas, and utilize them to make this company succeed. I feel heard. I feel included. 3 years strong, so far!
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that I get to build great relationships with families. Knowing that I helped curb our carbon footprint. Knowing I helped a low-income family get by "just a little easier this month". And knowing that my own family will have the MERRY CHRISTMAS I wasn't able to afford before.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The gas cards and car stipend! With the amount of driving we do- this is CRITICAL these days. We don't have to take food out of our families mouths to work for Sunrun. I enjoy that. We need it. We work hard for them and they show us this appreciation in return
What are some of the best things about your team?
Seriously?!! My co-workers are everything. They are my second family. No one comes across as a "used car salesman" and we all enjoy what we do as a career. Best part is that I can always, ALWAYS rely on my associates to answer any questions, as we all have our strengths. We celebrate each other!
