Overall it has been a good ride but Sunrun is changing and the corporate structure has shifted to try to become more profitable which has shifted entirely the workplace environment that we had. There's a lot of doubt about job security and we're constantly wondering when the next wave of layoffs is.

Being able to have a positive impact on the young men I lead.

Overall a well balanced environment, opportunity to be heard and profesional growth and development is encouraged.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people are what make a great and positive work environment. Sometimes leadership tends to forget that. It's not the policies that you have in place, it's understanding how to implement them and enforce them in a way that does not feel authoritarian.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Leadership has spoken to me many times about the value that I bring to our leadership team but the last 2 times that there has been an opportunity for upward movement I have been overlooked and not selected. It appears that if you're good at what you do, you should stay in the position you're in.
