My experience has been overall blessed, I get to work from home and have weekends off, I also get to network and learn a lot from leadership. There is opportunity to grow in the company also. However there are a lot of reorgs that happen so it can be challenging navigating the reorgs
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think the hourly employees need a higher hourly rate. There are a lot of escalations and more responsibilities. and a lot of angry customers we interact with and a lot of the employees vent a lot about their interactions its draining.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Love how invested my supervisor as a mentor/ Supervisor genuinely cares about our growth and goals, and is a great support. I could tell from our first 1:1 yesterday (: Also our lead has been so helpful, and supporting to my transition into this role, theyre knowledgeable and willing to help
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is so much fun and we can get off track sometimes but our lead helps balance the fun and work. Our team has been super engaging and the team bonding we have with the virtual team huddles is something I really like. Also they are all willing to help and my team hasnt been negative
What makes you most happy at work?
this role in general I love because I can work from home, and prioritize my day to day how I see fit not being micromanaged or like told this is the one way to go about your day. I know we have metrics as a guide to show us these are the marks we need to make
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My supervisor does a good job at giving positive feedback and also any type of improvement on our end. I like that during one huddle she had us do an exercise asking to list five things that we were proud of from yesterday and five things we are thankful for. She is always trying to help us
