I used to love working at Sunrun before the merger. Sunrun used to have a family environment that cared for its employees. The merger with Vivint has had ups and downs but it has made me feel as if the employees are just numbers instead of human beings.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My team of co-workers creates a fantastic environment to work in
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Most of the time they seem to be very transparent regarding change within the org
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have fantastic camaraderie. When times are tough, we always have each others back wether or not it's in the field or a personal issue.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel as if I am overlooked with the skills and knowledge that I have accumulated over the years of working here and that I am constantly put into a role that does not suit my desire to grow within the company
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I used to look forward to learning and growing within the company. Ever since Vivint became apart of the company, it feels as if they hired and promoted all the Vivint employees and fired or left the original Sunrun employees to stay at the same position they've already had.
