I love what I do, but Sunrun is increasing demands beyond our control while paying us less than McDonalds pay its employees. At the same time, Sunrun is not taking good care of the customers we work so hard to bring in and retain.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don’t feel undervalued. I am undervalued. Our base pay should be at least $5,000 for full-timers. Our salary is less than my mortgage/rent. The immorally low pay forces me to use my dwindling savings account just to work full-time f
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Pay us enough money to pay our bills at minimum. Respect that it’s a team effort and reward us as such. We book multiple properties and the FSCs are rewarded for sugars instead of giving us credit. Our living relies on their eth
What are some of the best things about your team?
With the exception of our manager and one teammate, we support each other in every way. We encourage potential customers to book with our colleague, we provide emotional support, productive feedback, and even share food and happy/sad experiences to help bring out the best in one another.
What makes you most happy at work?
That I improve on something every day. I love helping people with their bills while helping the planet and all living things. I used to tell people that I love being able to make a living while doing good things, but I am not able to make a living at Sunrun anymore.
