When the company came under the umbrella of Sunrun, the dynamics change. It feels more about the bottom line. They gave us a raise and took it away. Several times they talked about doing things that would help leads and reps, but there's been no follow through.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
That we can work at home.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I wish they seemed more interested in work. Most of chat interaction feels like hanging out at the water cooler all day.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
though it's low, probably commissions. The commissions are the only thing that makes up for the cut in pay we took when they implemented the new commission plan.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Being congruent with company values. Integrity is supposed to be a value. I guess if they are ok with false ads and not really serving our customers just to get sales, then they are congruent.
What makes you most happy at work?
Helping a lead set realistic expectations for what solar can actually do. Knowing that someone who came in with the idea that it's going to be free and that they were lied too through the advertising move forward with a proper understanding of what to expect at the next step.
