Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

No direction/leader, all Operations leaders are from Sales and Vivint, zero diversity, all white males, and their personalities are vastly different from operations people and what they value in employment.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I can never tell what country they are currently in.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I just hit my 5 year Anniversary at Sunrun, it was not acknowledged or celebrated by anyone. Also pay me fair market value to where I live.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

stop wasting money on the league, we don't want clothes and swag, justa normal paycheck to pay the bills. The comp plan is severely flawed/you get paid solely on what market you work in, not how good you are.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Telling us goals of changes, results of previous changes, why we are changing. Seems like we make change because executives want to make their "impact" on business. They have no insight on how it affects ground troops. Stop promoting sales leaders into Ops positions

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Communication, we typically find out weeks after go live dates on items. Stick to company new slogan "do things right the first time every time" I never heard this once mentioned after first meeting introducing this. I was excited for this, but they never delivered.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

No accountability for other departments at Sunrun, many departments are weeks past SLA of completing task while no ones cares. Stop promoting sales people into Ops leader positions. Stop turning Sunrun into Vivint, Sunrun was successful and every leader from Sunrun has been driven out and replaced

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

STOP promoting sales leaders in Ops positions. We need Ops leaders not Sales leaders. Operations people do not mesh to the jock culture that sales leaders are pushing onto team that might work with a sales team. We are not salespeople, we are operations. We are motivated by stability not fancy.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

A consistent paycheck, there is no direct result of performance to pay, it solely rests on what market you are lucky or cursed enough to work in depends how much Sunrun will pay you. Comp plan good in theory under constant growth but we are not growing, only closing branches left and right.
