Target Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Pays the bills decent pay

Vacation pay and sick time.

Pay is above retail average

Pay is above retail for other stores

Wages are good. Discount is nice. Some of the additional benefits are useful.

They paid for my teeth to be fixed

Review from Customer Support Dept

My compensation package was very good

Yearly bonuses are nice if you are in a L2 role but it sort of a pain when they base it off Targets fiancial performance and not your own personal performance.

Thr hourly pay is better than the other jobs in my area

The discount and virtual health care. I'm very part time and it's great

the health care and everything

Just the starting pay is good

I discounts to save me money and 401k if i get picked to stay

Review from Operations Dept

The 401k plan is nice

The 10% discount and the 20% discount on health and wellness items.

Pto and time off flexibility

Its very much fair compensation

Paid maternity leave and length of paid vacation time

Review from IT Dept

In addition to my 401-k package, I have a real, old-fashioned defined benefit pension!

The pension and 401k package

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Thinking planning and more hours

Review from Business Development Dept

I feel undervalued because everyday I work I am overworked and the store constantly scales down on workers every year and I’m expected to perform at unrealistic standar

Give new team members stock options.

treated like an employee number not a person

To feel better about your compensation, focus on the full value of benefits like health insurance or discounts. Pursue side hustles for extra income, and invest in skill development to boost your earning potential. Recognizing non-monetary perks can also shift your perspective.

Review from Sales Dept

Being paid more. Or at least equal to those in my area if same level.

Ive worked for target for over a year and have recived no raise, no preformance review, no "good job"

Considering our store has a high turnover rate, I think I should get a raise. And not just 5-7 cents

Review from Sales Dept

The minimum wage in the cities around me has gone up. Walmart and Sam's Club and costco employees in my town also get paid a higher beginning wage. We also dont get overtime

I don't particularly feel undervalued and I would feel better about my compensation if I received pay raises that at LEAST kept up with inflation.

I originally had raises from working at the company. But when they increased the starting pay, now I get paid as much as a new employee. And that new starting increase still doesnt even match the inflation of the products that im stocking on the shelves.

High expectations with little resources to meet said expectations makes it almost not even worth a double salary increase.

My position at Target is an HR expert. Considering the expectations and responsibilities of this position, I strongly belive HR experts deserve higher compensation. HR deals with sensitive information and acts as a support system for upper leadership, which requires high attention to detail.

Review from HR Dept

Raises dont keep up with cost of living increaes and inflation at all. Insurance plans are poor and expensive

Better pay increases, at least provide a coat of living increase.

Target seems to be more interested in hiring inexperienced early to mid-20 year olds and skip over the seasoned/exerienced mature adult. Quarterly raises along with increased starting salary

I am the seccond most senior guy on my shift and paid second to last.

Review from Engineering Dept

Higer wage earnings and stock options to all

I get paid about the same as everyone else even though I'm crosstrained in several departments and am the fast at pushing truck and pulling priorities.

higher pay higher pay higher pay
