It has been more than awesome! Since day one, I have been empowered to solve for challenges at the company. As long as I still complete my appointed job duties, I have been given the freedom to assist with other issues and solve for them. I have never been put in a box which opened up opportunities.
What did you like most about the interview process?
You could tell that people wanted you to understand the company so that you could understand the great opportunity that is before you.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The non-compensation benefits although there are items that could be added to make it better. I will say that the volunteer and employee engagement benefits are top notch!
What makes you most happy at work?
I feel like I have the best job at Thomson Reuters as I am a Community Relations Director and engage with our communities to help make them better.
What are some of the best things about your team?
People care!!! I have been through some significant issues in my life, and I will say that people from around the world have reached out to me. I am very thankful to work with such caring people.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
In the times of the pandemic and the civil unrest in the United States, the leadership has taken a strong stance in being advocates for a safer world. I commend them for being bold in their stance, and it really shows how much they value their employees.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The charge for employees to try to make their communities better and not to just make everything about work. We do great work for companies and governments but the company realizes that what we do impacts our communities and we can make a difference. They empower us to do so!
