The leadership of my group is responsive to our work needs and acts on our behalf visibly, They acknowledge the difficultly of our work, our accomplishments, and they challenge us with *mostly* attainable goals.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They come up with strategies, add a bunch of middle-management layers to "implement" them but don't hire people to do the work, so the strategies fail. They then come up with new strategies, hire more middle managers etc. Also, Steve Adler visits Toronto often but has never set foot in the newsroom

There is no stock compensation program; and health insurance is expensive and doesn't cover much.

I've been on a temporary contract for 1.5 years. Every time I'm told, next time I'll become permanent but has never happened. I was also forced to take a 50% paycut when I relocated.
