I feel fairly compensated. In my opinion, the question itself is not correctly phrased. Unfortunately, the company does not adequately consider employees' loyalty and the value of their experience. The opportunity to move into other positions is not available in every department.

Most of my coworkers are excellent. There are only a select few that need serious work. There is a lack of work ethic and professionalism. Have one on one status meetings and hold people more accountable for there tasks would help. As for professionalism, seems more cultural or maturity based.

More reward for professional excellence as opposed to frivolously handing out noddy badges in order to keep up the appearance that everybody is important. Yes everybody is important, especially those that make the company / projects work by bringing valuable experience or skills

There is a definite divide between management and the more technical people (developers). Understanding what can and cannot be done and why is a struggle when communicating with management. I'd say only allow managers with a strong technical background manage. This would help significantly.

Company sponsored events are limited to an annual Christmas party. Little social events throughout the year would help. This should be driven by employees, but initiated by management.

The team took the time to get to know me and interviewers openly shared the pro's and con's of their experiences while working at Trimble. The hiring panel shared a good amount of information about the day to day work responsibilities so that I could decide if the role was a good match.

Outside of normal teamwork, I like being able to meet with and discuss issues and questions with other teams on site. We also have regular enjoyable site activities (blood bus schedule, grilling picnics, a holiday bowling party!) that are a fun way to interact without age or mobility issues.
