The leadership team is excellent at communication throughout the organization.
Review from Engineering Dept
The commitment of the team to achieve the targets.
Review from Engineering Dept
As a Trimble we are adopting the challenges with the AI and adopting the changes very fast.
Review from Engineering Dept
That communication can happen and it's transparent.

Stop firefighting, aim strategic goals and follow up, escalate to upper management on the critical aspects asap
Review from Engineering Dept
Communication, team building, delegate responsibility. No sense of team spirit or job satisfaction.
Review from Engineering Dept
Laying people off and outsourcing jobs to balance the budget is bad enough, but leadership taking a bonus at the end of the year after doing so is shameful.

Create a technology roadmap Regular one-on-one meetings with the direct manager adjust the salary accordingly

Discretionary PTO is a nice benefit.
Review from Engineering Dept
The top bonus is for me the most interesting and motivating part of the compensation package.
Review from Engineering Dept
The bonus program and receiving RSUs
Review from Engineering Dept
My current compensation is fair and aligns with the current salary range for my role.
Review from Engineering Dept
I am under payed in comparaison of the market
Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 18 days ago
I feel like it is unclear how to increase my compensation and if the quality of my work affects it, where taking on extra responsibilities is not taken in account with compensation.
Review from Engineering Dept
Employee should understand the pay structure and compensation.

I see no reason software engineers should be in a much higher pay bracket than optical engineers considering we tend to have, e.g., PhDs and can write code and they cannot understan basic optics. This is kept in the dark by the company by saying all optical engineers are mechanical engineers.

Overall workload underestimation; missing little things that keep a good relation ship alive; a personal thank-you

We have each other's backs.

Their technical and social skills, helpfulness, the atmosphere they bring to the team.
Review from Engineering Dept
The work environment is very pleasant because people can freely express feelings without any stress. All the team is focused on the same objective: new product delivery.
Review from Engineering Dept
Take more responsibility, improve meeting efficiency
Review from Engineering Dept
1. Be more open to learning 2. Take more responsibility for the task at hand, rather than just the part that is most enjoyable for them. 3. Value peoples time i.e. don't waste months of time for a couple of $1000 savings buying some equipment
Review from Engineering Dept
My coworkers are great for the most part. There are two that I would like to see improve on their initiative and their accountability for work not being completed.
Review from Engineering Dept
Most of my coworkers are excellent. There are only a select few that need serious work. There is a lack of work ethic and professionalism. Have one on one status meetings and hold people more accountable for there tasks would help. As for professionalism, seems more cultural or maturity based.
Review from Engineering Dept
Communication it excellent. Meeting need to be more effective with clear agendas, action items, and follow ups. This is not always the case.
Review from Engineering Dept
open minded and integrating behavior with people of several origins
Review from Engineering Dept
The culture and environment are open and uplifting.
Review from Engineering Dept
The environment is multi-cultural and requires acceptance to work with other groups in the world. People who do not accept this, will not succeed in the company.
Review from Engineering Dept
You can connect with each team for any help and each team is open to help each other.
Review from Engineering Dept
Work life balance is what I appreciate the most.
Review from Engineering Dept
be faster in decision and execution, setting the right target, learning from 5 to 10 pat year of success or less success
Review from Engineering Dept
Reduce complacency and making excuses. Put in place practices and processes to allow curiosity. The organisation is full of really nice people, that are highly competent, but they are not empowered.
Review from Engineering Dept
The environment is great here
Review from Engineering Dept
More reward for professional excellence as opposed to frivolously handing out noddy badges in order to keep up the appearance that everybody is important. Yes everybody is important, especially those that make the company / projects work by bringing valuable experience or skills
Review from Engineering Dept
There is a definite divide between management and the more technical people (developers). Understanding what can and cannot be done and why is a struggle when communicating with management. I'd say only allow managers with a strong technical background manage. This would help significantly.
Review from Engineering Dept
It was all completed in one day and I walked away with a job offer.
Review from Engineering Dept
The team took the time to get to know me and interviewers openly shared the pro's and con's of their experiences while working at Trimble. The hiring panel shared a good amount of information about the day to day work responsibilities so that I could decide if the role was a good match.
Review from Engineering Dept
combination of behavioral and technical question, and the manager was really open about their needs and asked me about my needs and preferences too. I could tell they cared that this would be a good fit.
Review from Engineering Dept
Zero "fluff" - Direct conversation on what was expected.

Team interviews with peers in addition to management. Everyone has an equal vote.

Technical challenges and team spirit are two sources of motivation when I come at work.

Working on the challenging tasks
Review from Engineering Dept
Challenges, the ability to explore things out, seeing the results out there.
Review from Engineering Dept
I can change things and have influence on how we work.
Review from Engineering Dept
tasks are puzzled, issues appear by inbox, too many scattered projects, workload to high but recourses are cut short, relevant tasks are unmanaged
Review from Engineering Dept
I would like to see clearer growth plans and stronger differentiation between performance levels. Currently, the compensation difference between average and high performance feels too small, which can reduce motivation for employees who consistently take on higher ownership and deliver strong impact
Review from Engineering Dept
A survey is not the way to initiate organisational change. I am happy to provide sentiment, but this seems to be getting into solutioning.
