What do you like best about the leadership team?
We are treated like humans instead of numbers or property. Leadership gives fun opportunities for events outside of work and working events for collaboration. Leadership listens.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The pay structure of Vertafore versus other companies is abysmal. I am so severely underpaid and have to work additional jobs to survive.

I feel that because our cost of living is lower than other states where we maintain offices, its assumed that our cost of living is low, which would be incorrect. I would feel more correctly compensated if we were compensated leveraging the average among our offices per position and across the board

Employees who are here for years make a fraction of the salary in which a new hire would make. If a current employee resigned, then applied for their same job again, they would make significantly more money. It is very frustrating to give loyalty to a company who doesn't reward current employees.

As per the industry standards, if any new employee joins, then he or she will get good compensation, but if an existing employee stays on, they might not be able to get that much compensation, even though they are in the same position. Please consider existing employee package too

It is inclusive, and they prioritize a hybrid working schedule. If it were to change to go back to the office full-time, I would be extremely disappointed.

Less effort spent on implementing "frills" and more effort spent on efficiently ensuring better quality work output (i.e. - implementing tools/procedures/systems that will automate repetitive tasks, regression testing, more meaningful and impactful feedback when expectations are NOT met, etc.)

We need more strictly enforced processes/procedures, tighter QA/QC, more automation of menial/repetitive tasks, and about 2-3x as many bodies doing the work we have so more individuals are shouldering less burden and can better focus on fewer tasks.
