Insurance isn't inherently the most exciting industry, but somehow it just seems to attract happy, caring people. I'm really glad to work for a company that's focused on continual technology improvements AND taking care of people, both employees and customers. It's a uniquely great place to work.
I appreciate the open dialogues and honest communication.
We're flexible and collaborative, and I really appreciate the kindness with which everyone approaches their work.
I feel like I can have trust in Vertafore's genuine interest in making all employees feel valued.
I really enjoy getting to keep projects moving. I also just enjoy the general camaraderie. Free breakfast Wednesdays don't hurt, either.
I appreciate the availability of bonuses. I also have found our health coverage to be more than adequate. And I appreciate our flexible PTO.
The people. It's cliche, but it's true. I genuinely appreciate all of the people I get to work with. It's just a really good group.
Flexibility is the best part. It's an open point of conversation that pay is low, but flexibility is high. I think, as long as that balance remains true, things overall are quite good.
Qualified people who I can depend on to do the work and be kind, amazing, supportive people all around. We do a great job filtering out any jerks in our hiring process, IMHO.
I feel the leadership team is accessible and genuinely cares about the direction of the company and the wellbeing of employees. There may be occasional moments of disconnect, but I have confidence that there's always interest in finding the best path forward.
I feel we have an overall commitment to kindness. We're also not trapped in a corporate cult of toxic positivity, and people ARE able to openly discuss when something isn't working to try to make it better. It's incredibly freeing to know you can share your constructive ideas openly at work.
