I have learned so much from working at Vertafore, I have also made so many friends that I love working with. I also have grown professionally and personally from working here. I also love being treated as an adult, being valued, and feeling appreciated.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I have been here for a few years and have seen a few shifts in the company. I wish there were more transparency in some of the company decisions and that the pay was actually competitive. I enjoy my benefits, my team, and my position in the company.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I enjoy my direct leadership, aka my manager as she communicates effectivity.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Looking at other companies and what they pay for my position, I am severely. underpaid.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Some of the managers are better than others. My leadership team is clear, concise, and consistent.
What makes you most happy at work?
My position and the work that I do. I am very proud of my work ethic, and seeing my coworkers succeed.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The pay structure of Vertafore versus other companies is abysmal. I am so severely underpaid and have to work additional jobs to survive.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work well together, we feel safe talking to each other, and are able to be professional at work and also spend time together outside of work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It is inclusive, and they prioritize a hybrid working schedule. If it were to change to go back to the office full-time, I would be extremely disappointed.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I came from an extremely toxic team and have moved to a much safer, healthier, and one that I feel safe being around. They listen and validate others.
What makes you most happy at work?
My position that I have worked hard to reach and I am grateful to be in this position. I also love working with my teams, and feeling like I am helping Vertafore better our products.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I enjoy working from home and having the freedom to come in when I want to. That makes me really happy, as it makes me feel more positive about it being my choice to come in. Which I have been liking coming in when I want to.
