Learning the product has been hard as it's been around for a long time and there is a lot to it. But my team is patient and helpful. I don't feel like we actually have a "flex PTO" policy, as people tend to dislike when other take time off. Also, i do not like that relocation is required.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are knowledgeable about products and are hands-on
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I think some coworkers rarely take time off (for whatever reason) and it shows.
What makes you most happy at work?
Stress-free days with lower priority work (nothing dire that needs to be put out fast)
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Coworkers are much nicer and more involved here compared to other places. My team doesn't tend to think in terms of "that's not my job"
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The pay. Although I currently live remote where the cost of living is lower. When I move, my current pay rate will not go very far due to the locations Vertafore wants employees to live in.
