Pretty great! Except for the lack of manager, which has left me feeling in the wind while I'm new.
What makes you most happy at work?
Solving problems and learning, which go hand in hand with my early career stage in this company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My teammates, for sure. Such a deep well of information and the culture is one that sharing knowledge is expected and rewarded.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I was lucky to be hired in a big group, so I have colleagues who are at the same stage as me and we share learning. As well, the rest of the team is super supportive and loves to teach us all the things!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I currently do not have a manager, hence my lower scores. The managers I have been exposed to seem great, but I do feel a little lost between the cracks as they are managing their own teams and only providing side-support to us. I hope we find a good fit soon!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Flex PTO and Vertafore My Way - it's nice that I don't have to count my hours. It has given me the freedom to take time needed when sick and therefore get over being sick faster. As well, wfm allows me to not take sick time if I can work but don't want to share germs.
