Its been good, but it was better and there needs to be a substantial conversation over terms and conditions. If I were to go back on what we agreed upon during my onboarding I would get reprimanded, so what gives a company the right to change the terms with nothing to sweeten the deal for my end?
What makes you most happy at work?
I feel like I actually accomplish things here. I'm lower on the totem poll and yet most task feel important even if not all of them do. I enjoy feeling like I have a purpose.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are great people and they are clearly working hard towards bettering themselves. They say you are who you surround yourself with and I am thrilled to be a part of a such a caring, hard working and fun group.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They seem honest. They have big ideas and many ways to accomplish them but but aside from feeling like a brick in the wall I am not sure to do with information about their goals. I think having more actionable task that don't remind me I am on a hamster wheel would make me feel valuable to the team
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
This company was sold to me as a place you can grow your career and just talking around the office you can see how true that is. Some people have moved up very quickly and not without reason. The training here is great and aims to bring the best out of those willing to make the most of their time.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I did not agree to this many days in the office and in my situation doubling those days not only doubles my expenses with no promise of compensation to remedy that but also cuts the time with my family down a lot as well. I work hard and show up so that I could have a job that gave me that freedom.
