Good but just think I could be getting paid a lot more and haven't been given opportunities to advance.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
It's been pretty good. I think people that work here are generally pretty good people. I think that there is a good balance for the most part between pushing / challenging teams and creating a culture of work / life balance (some teams better then others). But, pay is low and job can be frustrating.

Adaptability, forward thinking, optimistic, supportive, helpful

Making development progress on our product
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think people genuinely feel pride in coming together to try to put out a good product.
What are some of the best things about your team?
People genuinely care about doing good work even if sometimes practices aren't the best (amplified by AI imo)

The hybrid nature but also flexible first work environment is really nice and allows me to be more productive.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have been consistently paid below average salary for my career / role since I started working at Vertafore
What makes you most happy at work?
Having a project I enjoy working on that I'm given lots of ownership and freedom to work on and make my own.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is amazing. QQ Catalyst is a group of very friendly and intelligent developers who are eager to help each other out and have fun in the process.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel that the pay for developers in QQ Catalyst is low for the market. Many of us could be making 1.5-2x the pay we're currently getting. Not to mention several jobs have been eliminated on our team do to attrition and have not been filled.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
As far as execs seem to be adapting w/ industry plus genuinely care about company. As far as middle management, I think maybe that gets a little lost in translation leading to some less then ideal dev team visions / roles / practices, management on my regular team is excellent however.
