The paycheck, and even that is not great

Pay market rates - and stop claiming you already do.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The people at Vertafore are amazing and the best thing about working there.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Who likes the interview process? This is a strange question. It wasn't particularly odious.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Executive leadership is OPAQUE. Staff questions are met with equivocation and a lack of clear answers. Also, PAY YOUR STAFF A FAIR WAGE.

What are some of the best things about your team?

The best thing about Vertafore is its people. Just about everyone is highly capable, happy to collaborate, and easy to work with. When I leave, it will be because of the low pay, not the people.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Executive team doesn't listen to staff feedback. They ask for it, as an effort to appear as though they want to incorporate employees' suggestions into company processes and policies, but they effectively ignore or circumlocute around it.
