Vertafore is fine if you want work to be a repetitive, mundane experience with good job security that enables you to enjoy the rest of your life. It is not a good place if you want fulfillment from your career or to be compensated at the rate you likely deserve.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Below-market wage with little to no benefits or perks to compensate. Up the wage or bring back the perks, such as remote work.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The initial attraction of Vertafore was work flexibility, workplace perks, and job stability in exchange for a below-market salary. Over time, the executive team have removed the flexibility, stopped offering perks, and maintained the below-market salaries, effectively taking away the positives.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It is well known that Vertafore offers below-market salaries with the idea that their long-term stability and, previously, work flexibility made up for that difference. But those latter perks are going away, which leaves people with below-market wages and little to no perks. So, why work there?
What are some of the best things about your team?
The individuals at Vertafore are why people stick around. They are great and creative people who all seem to have fallen for the same ruse and are now making the best of the situation. They communicate well, are open to collaboration, and incorporate feedback without dissolving into arguments.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Culture is really left up to individual teams to foster and not set at the executive level. We had one executive even explicitly state that culture was not a high priority to them. That being said, the strength of Vertafore is the smaller teams, who do a great job building a community.
