Front line employees really care and work with each other.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Realistic expectations, holding employees accountable, respecting employees, providing a decent salary

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

People with less experience hired at higher pay. Other companies pay much better.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Upper Management doesn't listen and prefers to have high turnover in order to save a buck.

No clear company/product vision. Underpaid and doing my manager's job, but not being compensated for that or even appreciated.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Teammates care and support each other. We work extra hours to make up for poor management not doing their jobs.

My team works harder than any other team at Vertafore. We get along well and put in an honest day's work.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Pay is far below industry standard and the company keeps trying to say that our full compensation is equal to other companies' base pay, but this is very unethical.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

No clear vision for products. Crazy shifts in direction with no validation that the customers even want features. No clue what is going on at the lower levels of the company.
