It was extremely easy. They need to hire anyone they can.
Vertafore pays 10 to 15 percent below average, and doesn't ever increase your salary. Our benefits are average.
It's too easy, we hire people that don't know what they are doing. We need to stop hiring unqualified people
Vertafore tends to hire under qualified people, and generally hires the first(and usually only) person to accept the job. Working with some of my co workers is a nightmare.
Our products were technologically out of date in 1999. AMS360 and most other Vertafore products are extremely hard to use, and the engineers don't feel proud to work on them.
They consistently undervalued their employees. Compensation is far below market average, and while they say they promote from within, this isn't true (with exceptions when they literally can't fill a position because the compensation is so low).
Vertafore continually says "it's a family here" and literally never does anything to back it up. It's not a family, they just tell people that to get people to sign on, and then everyone quits after a year.
