Despite low compensation, my overall experience has been very positive. I feel well supported by my manager and other leadership in my role and career development, and most everyone I have met at the company is easy to work with and very supportive.

Working at Vertafore has been a positive challenge for me. I feel that my career path has improved a lot through my time at Vertafore and I am grateful for the advancement opportunities provided, along with the wonderful benefits and company culture.

Knowing that I work with a great team, and that we are helping the insurance industry improve upon its customer experience.

We are encouraged to do good quality work and also encouraged to explore our interests/resources through the company via internal/external professional development courses and employee resource groups.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The compensation is low but the benefits are great. I feel valued by my manager and my team; the compensation does not align with that value, though.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team cares about the well being of each employee and stays proactive to ensure that we have what we need to achieve our company and individual goals.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Open office environment allows for more collaboration (and socialization). We are also well fed with bagels on Monday, donuts on Friday, and a burrito vendor visiting twice a week!
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is open about communication and overall gets along well. If we disagree on something, we are willing to hear each other out and find a solution that works with us all.
