My experience has had ups and downs. I appreciate the culture, people, and work that I get to do here. On the flip side, I have a frustrating time running up against corporate and feeling unheard when I offer certain suggestions. Overall, however, this is a great place to work!
What makes you most happy at work?
When I get to contribute meaningfully, get good feedback on my contributions, and rest appropriately, I am most happy at work.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is fun, funny, hard working, honesty, and care about each other as people. We spend time together outside of work often
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
When we make mistakes, we move forward. This company is excellent about keeping us in the present and not dwelling on past issues
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team that I work with is kind and relatively transparent. I typically know what they're thinking, why we're doing a given project, and how they do their jobs!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because the real decision-making power always sits with people on a higher rung of the ladder than me. As an employee "in the trenches," I have a lot of good insight that goes by the wastes as we pursue our executive goals.
