The tech stack I am working on is extremely old and doesn't match my skill set. The interview process had nothing related to the product's tech stack. Migrate to latest tech stack. That would keep existing employees interested and also attract external talent.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Not applicable for the entire organisation, but 'People Management is an Art' . First timers into People management is tough for the team especially when manager feels superiority over the team coz of their tech background., A skip level meeting with the director would be very helpful in such cases.
