
Amazon leadership knows how to operate at global scale.
Lots of super smart people, and very few people who are outright rude/uncollaborative, at least in my organization. But the pace is blistering and it can easily bring out the stressful side of people (including myself).
I feel Amazon demands several jobs of each employee, and doesn't care if this creates massive amounts of stress/bandwidth pressure. Overall compensation is also significantly below market rate and I believe Amazon's leadership is not truly interested in addressing this problem.
