I came from a well-respected S&P 500 company and at Nightingale College I feel listened to by my supervisor and the experience has been refreshing because I haven't seen the corporate politics and ego here that I've experienced in the past. It's easier to get things done because leadership cares.

It's been an outstanding experience from day one. I've never experienced an orientation where you are with the CEO your entire first day and have so much interaction with leadership. Discussion about the culture continues on and is something you do experience and come to understand it sets us apart.

Ability to be trusted to do my job and to have work/life integration. I can quickly take my little girl to school in the morning and then get back to work.

My team is very responsive and they work well together. We enjoy being able to connect and celebrate our successes as a team and share best practices regularly. We learn from our mistakes together.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It's genuine! I appreciate that we truly embrace our values and go beyond your typical "trust" and "teamwork" values but we also encourage forgiveness and extending trust from day one. Trust isn't "earned" from day one, it's just given.

There is an obvious difference with our culture at Nightingale College and people are somewhat skeptical at first when they hear how different we are (in a good way) but they come to realize that it is different, refreshing, and an excellent place to work.
