I am very happy with the environment and benefits of working for AT&T, I just wish HR would level salaries with regard to long-tenured employees in comparison to what newly hired employee salaries are

Leadership has made a strong point of valuing our culture and environment and has several opportunities to build inclusivity.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership is engaged to try and work towards positive outcomes in growing our business. I genuinely feel that our opinions are valued although it seems execution on the feedback sometimes takes time to implement.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Newly hired employees' salaries outweigh tenured salaries in the same role. While advancement opportunity exists salary increases are not in line with newly hired employees and when addressing this topic with HR when accepting a new position no concession can be made to this point.
