In my 15 years, overall had good experiences, especially with peers; but am always worried about being surplused and that overall the company favors more what the board/executives want than the people doing the jobs that push the company forward to success.

The trust and autonomy I specifically have received.

We collaborate well together; everyone is always willing to answer a question or lend a helping hand.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening to their employees, explaining an actual "why" behind things and not just using corporate talk; give larger merit increases that keep up with the cost of labor and living especially when we tout a profitable year in 2022 (also keeps us competitive).
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have been with this company since 2009 and am one of the lowest paid on my team, with people with less experience being brought in exponentially higher; directives for 2023 were given with no clear direction on how to actually do or achieve; Fair pay to employees who have been here a long time.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Directives given but no roadmap to success in current role; I am being developed for next level, but for the role my supervisor wants, not what I want even tho I have communicated what I would like in my career path steps; need clear roadmap for success in current role & development for next steps
