Our current executive leadership team is pretty incredible. They're great folks who are passionate about the work we do and committed to delivering the best possible results, but they're also very reasonable when plans change or projects are delayed. They always push us to achieve our potential.

There is a level of accountability that has been missing from Acquia for some time. The newly installed regime has made accountability a priority and is driving a result oriented, customer focused culture throughout the organization.

I get paid at the high end of the range. Stock options could be very valuable.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I know for a fact I am underpaid by 50%-70% (depending on the person) compared to male colleagues in similar roles. It's rampant and wrong. If it's such a great place for women, I am not a part of that movement and neither is any other woman I know in this company -- many anecdotes supporting this.

The company still does not offer 401k matching, which is understandable given that we're still a startup. However non-Sales employees are still routinely underpaid for their talent and impact on the business, and it's a struggle to catch up. HR would rather hire a new person than approve a raise.

We're on Cigna, which is a fairly stingy insurance company without great coverage for the specific things my family needs. Additionally, there's an odd setup with a Health Reimbursement Account. both of these feel like cost-cutting choices, rather than picking the best option for employees.

We are very supportive of each other. We root for each others success. There is not a lot of politics like other places I have been.

I am surrounded by incredible people. Nearly everyone is passionate, committed, brilliant, kind, and talented, and many folks around here have a great sense of humor that makes even hard days worth the drive into work.

Product and Engineering teams have several people who I would describe as straight up *toxic*. I have felt discriminated against as a woman several times by colleagues.

Going through an exercise was really important for me to get to know the players in the room. It gave them a real chance to assess my skills but for me to assess them as well. Interview questions can be like multiple choice exams as you don't really know who someone is until you see them in action.

My personal interview process was not typical. They have become more standardized, lengthy, and likely a bit more difficult. Regardless, my own interview process was great. One casual interview and I was in.

They take forever to schedule interviews, don't coordinate well, and are not good at following up with referrals.
