What does the leadership team need to get better at?
All decisions are made by buzz-words and not my understanding. People with technical experience are treated like idiots and non-technical people tell those with experience that we don't understand and cannot have input. This is a truly hostile environment for me - with over 30 years of experience.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Emphasis is always on the customer and not the employee. I could have saved the company millions - but am told that I am clueless. I was told directly by a Sr. VP that the company has no responsibility to help me even stay on par with the cost of living.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
There needs to be a path for a technical person. Decisions need to always have a check and balance rather than made just for today's penny at the expense of tomorrows hundreds of dollars.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Even if I report an issue, the report is either ignored or discarded. Today, the response was "you get 3 chances to respond to us or we will close the ticket". All 3 attempts by the service team came during my midnight hours. The ticket was closed before I even knew someone was there.
