As a person who works at dollar tree the mangers and associates make me real comfortable considering i have social anxiety. The only problem i have working there are the hours are not consistent so sometimes is a struggle with the small checks. Great job for when you are in school though.
What makes you most happy at work?
My coworkers and mangers. They make me look forward to going to work just so I can see them.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive thing about my work environment are my coworkers. We get along like we are family and we can always depend in each other.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The hours are forever changing and its hard to keep money with non consistent hours. The assistant managers also get cheated, they work like dogs and they don't even get fair pay like they did before the associate pay went up. I just feel like we deserve a little more.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
If the team leadership deals with the managers then i like everything ! They are considerate of their employees and very kind to the customers. They will help in anyway if possible and the store stays clean and organize to their best ability. Overall, they make my job easy and fun.
