Being around a good management team and just in a good atmosphere really helps productivity.
We are not coworkers we are a family. When one of us hurts we all hurt and we all strive to lift each other up.
Sometimes corporations forget that each employee isn't just a number. Some of us are dedicated to our work striving to do the best job we can and some are rising far above others in productivity. I believe recognizing and thanking or rewarding this productivity would be beneficial.
It would be a lot better if we all communicated more and looked at the stores on an individual level. Each store is unique and requires different things. For example if a store's food isles were reduced from 2 isles to 1 isle counter this change by reducing the amount of food shipped.
The process is a one on one with the store manager where everything expected from the job is outlined clearly. The only thing that would make it better is when hiring for a specific position, like stock crew, have the manager over that group present and collaborate on the interview to find a match.
