I am a relatively new employee and already I feel part of the team making a difference for the company. I feel my managers take a lot of pride in the store. Their expectations are made very clear and are reasonable, but appropriately high. I feel corporate could make employees feel more valued.

Hard workers. Helpful to each other.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It moved along swiftly and was casual so made me feel comfortable.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Lots of praise from management about a job well-done. Goals are set which provides an attainable challenge.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Dollar Tree runs a tight ship, but employees are not made to feel valued. Staff room looks like a prison cell. Fun place to work, though and I admire their efforts to succeed as a business.
What makes you most happy at work?
Feel great when I can leave the store in much better state than I found it in when I started my shift. Also, I love when I feel I am part of making Dollar Tree a fun place in which to shop.
