Many of the employees have 2nd jobs in order to support themselves and their families. For some with a chronic pain disorder the benefits are terrible; paying 5,000 out of pocket and only get 750 in our HSA, that doesn't even cover a quarter of the out pocket cost.

Compensation for my role is not equivalent to what it is at other financial institutions. Not paying every person with the same job title the same. For example just because I have the same job title as someone else on my team I think I should be getting paid more based on my performance vs theirs.

more relaxed work environment, we are too uptight about the wrong things

Customer service worrying about fraudulent travel requests instead of keeping a list of every time the branch calls for help with a customer. I have literally had to leave customers uncomplete or have them call customer service themself out of worry of customer service reporting the call.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Nothing is wrong, I am just not excited about going to work every day, and I don't think that would change regardless of my job. I like my job, I'm just not excited about it day in and day out.

Health insurance needs to be made much more affordable and raises should be the rate of inflation plus a percentage to show that your hard work is valued.

We seem to reward EMT and upper management whom are not achieving their goals why the rest of us that consistently perform are being left behind.

Just a lack of training, development, and communication makes everything a struggle.

There is very little connection between performance and reward. Those who underperform are not held accountable and those who exceed are not rewarded. Our EMT members have been in charge for so long they are completely detached from reality.
