Appreciating its employees and representing our company's values internally. Nextdoor is a divided company with two different goals and ideologies (Community vs Revenue). Nextdoor needs to be unified and it can't happen until leadership acknowledges this large elephant in the room and adjusts.

Leadership team needs to show they care about driving revenue and creating opportunities for advertisers to increase their budget commitments. Time and time again its the same story of the revenue teams having 0 to no resources to grow our partnerships due to lack of priority with our team and work.

It seems like we have really great health benefits because my therapist is shockingly affordable and whenever I require a prescription drug, its fairly inexpensive as well. I REALLY appreciate benefits like that and it definitely makes me a happier employee.

I pay is behind that of the other social brands we are competing against. Basic salary could be increased to bring us in line with competitors. More benefits like: contribution to travel, better gym benefits, salary sacrifice scheme for electric vehicles

Comp is good on paper, but such a small % of reps actually hit their goals, so "on paper" is where it ends. Leadership also does not recognize folks who go above and beyond. They just want robots.

It starts with leadership. When someone constantly displays they are an outlier in their role but leadership continues to dilute your accomplishments by not recognizing your work & lumping it in with sub-par performance from your fellow team members it makes you question leadership & coworkers

While ICs are great, the workplace overall is toxic. This comes from the top down. Micromanagement and gaslighting abound.

The revenue team gets zero support from leadership as it's not a priority, kindness and community are which is why we are two different companies with competing goals under one umbrella. Wallstreet favors revenue where Nextdoor doesn't

Difficult to be motivated when clients don't return email or phone outreach. We're targeted and paid commission against reaching a goal, and it's hard to do that when all tactics aren't working. Need more mgmt help.
