We need to get better at our values, especially Caring for our people. We are burnt out, and when you hear that work/life balance is not valued it's difficult to invest yourself as an employee when you don't feel you are truly valued and that 24/7 work is more important.

I love working at Nextiva but my position here requires a lot of work & a lot of hours. I came in at a lower salary (because it's a great company) and unfortunately, they haven't made it a priority to increase my pay to fair market value, while bringing in others at that rate with increased budget.

At my level and per the market today, having bonus as apart of the total comp package is the baseline. Having minimum competitive pay, no bonus and working over 40 hours per week does not make one feel engaged.

Leaders (including executive leaders) need to be more thoughtful in how we do things. It is too reactive and nothing is ever thought through properly. It is just go do, but we never think about how we are going to get there. We need to start finishing and stop starting OKRs we can't finish properly.
