Oracle has changed over the last few years and not in a positive manner. The company has choosen to abandon all semblance of leadership, but has a plethora of management. They no longer find value in exp., and it's been decades since the majority got any pay increases.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people and teams are the only redeeming qualities here.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Lack of respect, treating employees as disposible resources. Oracle does not actually consider experience a benefit.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership is no longer considered a value at Oracle. We have plenty of management, but lack any leadership.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Leadership. Basically the lack of clear goals and constant reorg's impact productivity. Oracle has several programs for Co. culture, but management does not follow it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Oracle believes that only Exec's and top leadership should reap the benefits of the hard working employee's. It's been over a decade of doing more work with no pay increases, Job titles change, but compensation does not.
