Management is completely absent when it comes to developing front line employees. The nursing managers never conduct monthly meetings with MHT’s or nurses to discuss his/her performance for that month. In fact, the only times I have met with management is when they want to point out when im wron

Tanner should work on being an inclusive and collaborative work culture where everyone is able to impact growth. The CEO is such a nice man, I don't believe that he would agree with how some of the leadership under him behaves and treats their employees. Treat employees with respect & just be nice.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
MHT’s and nurses (regardless of how talented and caring they are) are all viewed as replaceable, and that message is routinely communicated to staff. Never in my working career (which now spans more than three decades) have I worked for less supportive, more arrogant, and more ignorant leadershi

Because an administrative assistant who does not have to be certified, licensed or registered is offered a higher top out pay and salary over the staff that has to uphold a certification/licensure. Tanner should definitely think about offering pay that compares to surrounding hospital systems!

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think our office is currently working on ways to increase morale and job safety but I’m unsure if I have a favorite thing at this time because at this time I almost always come in stressed, feeling as if my job is no longer safe, and we are mostly discouraged from laughing

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
It needs to start at the top. The culture is not good and it reflects down the chain of command. I'm sure there are great managers, directors and sr. leadership but I have not seen that yet. Management style has not progressed with times. If you complain or question anything there is retaliation
