Whats your sales experience, describe a problem youve encountered and your solution.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years. Are you able to complete tasks independently?
Their questions are mainly to find out what type of person you are, what type of attitude you have and how you handle situations good and bad. They want outgoing, happy team members.
How are the career growth opportunities on the Sales team at Target?
You have to wait a year for promotion but most don’t want to wait that long if we’re doing more than that job description already we’ll just go elsewhere

Met with ETL and the HR assistant and was hired that day after my interview
I meet with jean and it took one day to hear back from them
I met with the general manager for the interview. It only took a day to hear back from them.

Used to reward people for a job well done. Now, not anymore

What skills do you need to be successful in the Sales department at Target?
A degree
Know all of your stuff and succeed in keeping the guest happy and make sure they find everything they came into the store to buy

When Target decided to raise the starting pay, they have yet to make cost of living increases for anyone. Bad move

Our leadership team is not so great. Everyone has their flaws. I just wished they recognized their own flaws, and treat their employees with more respect.
This needs more communication
The leadership, in general, is pretty good. As in any company, there is always gonna be people you have difficulties. But, Target, at least in my experience, really cares about the team members.

How are the career growth opportunities on the Customer Support team at Target?
I wish there was more career opportunities to move up in Target. There’s not a lot positions available, unless someone quits or gets terminated.
As part of the team, you will face working your tail off, for okay wages, and getting precious little appreciation for your effort. Growth only comes to those with college degrees and you come in as a leader.
Not very good. I have learned a lot, including other departments, but there’s no opportunity to grow within the company. Unless, some one is leaving or fired.
Why work for Target?
If you are going to school and looking to make a couple dollars for books and supplies. Or retired and looking to work 10 hours a week
Target is all about diversity and inclusion. You can come to work and be yourself, which is great.

How are layoffs handled in the Sales department at Target?
Haven't seen any, because not getting enough hours to begin with.
They lay-off people who comes in when they are off because they had a call out and they are not very understanding. They care more about money instead of the mental state and the physical state of their employees

How are layoffs handled in the Customer Support department at Target?
HR handles these layoffs not Customer Support Departments
There hasn’t been any layoffs at the store I work at.
The only lay off I was ever there for was when they let the holiday people go after Christmas

My immediate team lead is great, but she's feeling the extreme pressure by the stl.
We are constantly losing and getting new people for these positions so it's a constantly changing role. Bad and good
