I know that I'm a very valuable person and have traits that some companies would kill for - yet anytime I try to move up I get ousted by those who are 'playing the game' better and who have the advantage over me. I don't feel like anyone really cares about my own well being here aside from friends
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Leadership needs to stop playin favorites and actually hire people who are good at the job itself not those who can talk nicely and schmooze in interviews.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
1. Doing the job of 5 people in 5 areas of expertise and not having that even remotely close to my job title. 2. be actually competitive for the job title if thats the case then (compensation wise)
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The inclusivity is great here. I thoroughly feel like a whole human here which is probably the only reason i've yet to seek employment elsewhere. The pay may be better there but they won't value me as a human -- however there are limits
What makes you most happy at work?
I do like that I can get what i need to get done, done in my own way and time and seek opportunities to broaden my horizons. I do like that I've made some of the best friends here and I do like that the time off is flexible.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I do like that the direct leadership over me does seem invested in the motto of "frontline first" and if there are issues we, as frontline participants, are in the dirt together. Leadership past the site director does not seem to care much or even see the struggles that go on.
