It's a great experience as I got promoted in less than 5 months. Career growth is definitely a thing in TaskUs.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Overall, my journey is wonderful. I get to be promoted immediately right after regularization. However, the most disappointing part is about the compensation of QA internal vs External hires. It's demoralizing knowing that someone with less experience/knowledge is getting more compensated.

Be ridiculous! having a why not solutions.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a QA, compensation isn't really that much different from a teammate.

It's about being ridiculous. If it looks weird but it works, then it works.

The unusual workflow we have in AI development where I find work challenging and fun.

To look forward on what I can contribute and improve the company standing against other vendors.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The company requires years of experience and I have 3, however I'm getting less here than my previous employer.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The positive culture that we have is the fact that our CEO is firm about supporting startups with back office supplies. That way, we do not interact with our customers, but only through peers in a way that professionalism is being exercised.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am a QA and I learned that external QA is getting more when it comes to compensation which is kind of unfair. I definitely have the skills and more familiar with the process however, knowing that someone with less knowledge and les experience with the job is getting paid a lot more is demoralizing
