TaskUs is a great company. Accounts and teammates are non-toxic. However, it's a different story if we talk about the management. It seems that the story of TaskUs I've heard from tenured teammates is now a Legend.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is trying hard to embody the culture even though it is being mixed with other cultures already.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being challenged by my work to try my best or to even go beyond what I can normally do. The teammates we talk to every day. Fun activities by the cheer squad.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The basic salary in TKU is no longer aligned with others. The perks also. People are only staying due to the people they've been with for the past years. Also, please consider the inflation. Non-transparent list of eligible teammates for incentive. We love working at TKU, but salary-wise, it's a NO.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Management is getting worse. It's now all about the BUSINESS, not its PEOPLE. We understand that the business needs to do good. However, the management doesn't seem to care anymore. The budget for events seems to be so low as we are now eating popcorn only and small snacks during the 15th Anniversar
What are some of the best things about your team?
People are so caring, genuine, and friendly. Everyone is actually easy to get along with. Tenured ones are still embodying the culture of TKU but the newly hired ones are bringing their toxic culture to mix with us. Those in mgmt roles are always saying We do this at ___ so we should implement here
