I love being a part of Uber. I truly enjoy what we are accomplishing. This is a tough time for us in TA with not having much hiring to do. Many people, not just in TA feel insecure about layoffs.

Real talk. We can be open and honest with each other.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Transparency. Also, they talk to everyone the same one. All levels at Uber are treated the same way.
What makes you most happy at work?
Coming from TA, getting to hire people is great. Flat headcount, doesn't allow for me to do what I enjoy most.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
remote work. forcing people into an office on anchor days doesn't lead to a collaborative environment. If people don't want to be in the office, there is resentment about being here it can create an unfavorable environment.
