Overall experience was great. It is the experience after the internship was over which was dreadful, till now and it has been over 1.5 months and I still don't know about the result of my PPO. the Leadership Team is the one responsible as we are being told. really disappointed.

Fine, also if a company is in recession, the stipend of new hire interns is not increased.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They should provide some clear insight on how to move forward with the interns, it is a career of a person they are keeping on hold due to some finance or other issues. Not the thing expected from this company.
