What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Disaplining people. Managing people. Making sure things are getting done and helping out when there are calloffs or a lot of work. Actually running the place so it isn't just a bunch of people doing what they want.

management has a huge issue of lying to your face consistently when asked questions about hospital shut downs and layoffs. Transparency is not a thing with UPMC.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
I'm very grateful for affordable health, vision, and dental insurance and to be able to take paid days off to spend time with my family.

The staff is all great people. Just watch out for the management.

They need to listen and communicate. Stop working only for themselves and work as a team. Most are just there for a paycheck with no care or passion.

They feed us on weekends and holidays and special occasions with something nice

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Management and leaders need to stop disbanding entire departments and ruining peoples lives, the same lives that dedicated their career to UPMC.

The guy that interviewed me told me everything upfront about my job, didn't try to glorify anything, which others do.

They are very positive and load you up with a ton of positive false narratives.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The company makes billions every year but tricks patients out of there money because they are cheap. Not enough salary for enough employees to do the work so everyone is always rushing and were always shorthanded.

Bosses do not care about their employees. You could be fired tomorrow for little to no reason and nothing is done.
